Titan Quest delivers a lengthy, polished, accessible and hugely enjoyable single and multiplayer adventure. The promise of future fan-made content is the icing on the cake.
If this had been the first time Monkey Ball had graced our consoles it probably wouldn't have been so disappointing, but it would also be a series that few people would care about.

GUN can't possibly boast to be a game of the year, but it'll entertain anyone who gives it a chance, even if it's only for a few days.

If you're wondering if the latest game does anything drastically different to the previous games, it doesn't. It's more of the same, with some slight graphical improvements.
The PlayStation 2 is still waiting for a truly great FPS of its own. For everything it does right it does two things wrong. The Helghast should have stayed on Helghan.
The storyline is intricate, there's depth beyond the main quest, and the action is incredible at times. We've had some stunning games this year, and Ubisoft has given us another to add to the list.
With that illusive new idea becoming harder and harder to find, well made imitators can't be sniffed at. Saints Row even manages to show GTA a thing or two, and deserves a place in your collection.
Need For Speed: Most Wanted is not only the best Need For Speed title in some time, but also one of the best racers period.
