Pragmata
Releasing a new big-budget franchise in the midst of an industry crisis is madness for most companies, but for Capcom, it's simply staying on course. Pragmata proves that's not the case.
Marvel's Wolverine relies heavily on its combat system, sacrificing virtually all other gameplay elements for the sake of combat. This is enough to provide decent entertainment, but it also leaves the feeling that the game has a lot of unrealized potential.
Remedy takes us back to the twisted world of Control, but this time it adds superhero combat and open-world markers. The result is uneven, but when the surreal abstractions of this universe take over, Resonant truly shines!
Mixtape
I'd had Mixtape on my radar since its announcement, though recent years have somewhat discouraged me from any Life is Strange imitators. Fortunately, this game turned out to be a game of its own—and it offers more than just nostalgia.
Transport Fever 3 is a great sequel to the series. There are more vehicles, everything looks better, the interface is clearer, and the modding scene is already impressive. The game's only real problem is its performance.
Townfall is a Silent Hill game tailored perfectly to the tastes of classic Silent Hill fans who haven't necessarily embraced the latest experiments. With the old-school formula comes an old-school difficulty level, which won't appeal to everyone.

Saros
From the very first minutes of gameplay, it became clear to me that Saros was created as a response to the most vocal criticisms leveled at Returnal. But isn't that a bit too safe a approach to creating a sequel?
The new fighting game from Sony and the creators of Guilty Gear is fast, flashy, beautiful, and easy to master. It also makes interesting and bold use of the Marvel license. Despite this, it's not the hit I was hoping for.
