Star Wars Zero Company might be the boldest thing EA has done with the franchise since Squadrons, as tactical games are out of style these days. It's a shame that the satisfying moments are diluted with filler, and the Unreal Engine sometimes seems to rebel.

I'd had Mixtape on my radar since its announcement, though recent years have somewhat discouraged me from any Life is Strange imitators. Fortunately, this game turned out to be a game of its own—and it offers more than just nostalgia.

I admit that after playing the Onimusha: Way of the Sword demo, I had serious concerns about whether Capcom would be able to live up to the series' legacy. After spending over 20 hours with the game, I know I was worrying for nothing.

The director of The Witcher 3 is leaving CD Projekt and founding a new studio to create his own major RPG. What could have come of it? The Blood of Dawnwalker will give you almost everything you loved about Wild Hunt… but some virtues are hidden too deeply.

Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is a solid spin-off offering several hours of engaging gameplay, though at times it feels more like an interactive movie than a game. It's not exceptional, but several factors make it definitely worth giving it a try.

Townfall is a Silent Hill game tailored perfectly to the tastes of classic Silent Hill fans who haven't necessarily embraced the latest experiments. With the old-school formula comes an old-school difficulty level, which won't appeal to everyone.

Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave is a feast for fans of tactical games of gigantic scale and superb quality. While mechanically phenomenal, the storytelling unfortunately sags under its own weight.

Transport Fever 3 is a great sequel to the series. There are more vehicles, everything looks better, the interface is clearer, and the modding scene is already impressive. The game's only real problem is its performance.

Remedy takes us back to the twisted world of Control, but this time it adds superhero combat and open-world markers. The result is uneven, but when the surreal abstractions of this universe take over, Resonant truly shines!

Marvel's Wolverine relies heavily on its combat system, sacrificing virtually all other gameplay elements for the sake of combat. This is enough to provide decent entertainment, but it also leaves the feeling that the game has a lot of unrealized potential.

Determination, satisfaction, rage, relief. And a sense of freedom. Few games can deliberately evoke such intense and diverse emotions as Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve, which is bigger and better than any other ace in the sky.

The Sinking City 2 surprised me. My concerns about the format shift were allayed, though there's no denying the game lost something in the process. Ultimately, Frogwares has successfully embraced the survival horror genre.
