From several of the minds behind The Witcher 3, comes The Blood of Dawnwalker, an action RPG set in a region under the control of a court of vampires. And, as Coen is transformed into one during an attack on his village, his revenge will only be complete once they are dead, and his family returned.
Even with poor optimization, the excellent narrative and challenging combat make it an experience very close to its main influences.

The Blood of Dawnwalker Review - Spoilt For Choice
Comparisons between The Blood of Dawnwalker and The Witcher 3 are inevitable, but it has nothing to fear, even when facing Geralt's best adventure, because Rebel Wolves' game is excellent. The director of The Witcher 3 is leaving CD Projekt and founding a new studio to create his own major RPG. What could have come of it? The Blood of Dawnwalker will give you almost everything you loved about Wild Hunt… but some virtues are hidden too deeply.
Rebel Wolves has said that they envisage this to be only the first chapter in an ongoing saga and, beyond Coen, a potential legendarium of related stories across a long history. Given the location of the Carpathian Mountains, it could well turn out to be like a western RPG spin on the same broad idea as the Castlevania franchise. That, of course, is contingent on The Blood of Dawnwalker being a commercial success, and I do believe it deserves to be. The narrative might be subservient to the mechanics, and not as thematically evocative as I might like, but excellent writing does combine with qu…

The Blood of Dawnwalker doesn't excel at everything it hopes to achieve, with wonky combat, an open-world littered with repetitive tasks, and some underdeveloped mechanics, but the ambition, some cleverly connected choices, and highlights in key story moments are well worthy of praise.
