When Monster Hunter: World first launched back in 2018, I (and most critics) applauded Capcom for turning their niche monster-slaying property into a more streamlined series, a title that the entire world finally cared about.
After being a PC exclusive for some time now, Phoenix Labs’ newest action-RPG, Dauntless, has made its way to consoles and, in a world that already has Monster Hunter: World, it seems to be a different take on the monster-hunting genre.
With every new Yoshi release, it seems that critics and fans alike always seem to appreciate Yoshi with a sense of kid-like enthusiasm, favoring the cute art styles over the actual gameplay, since it was always super easy to beat the game.
Getting to the end credits in Swords of Ditto required me to start my adventure over about 14 times (give or take). The demanding journey that I powered through proved to be more difficult than Swords of Ditto lets on. In other words, don’t let the cutesy, Adventure Time-esque art-style...
