Flip Wars isn't a bad game, it's a painfully mediocre one with an appalling lack of overall content. The Switch might be the perfect place for a small, simple multiplayer game, but Flip Wars doesn't offer anything new or different enough to justify itself.
Sundered takes the indie, Metroidvania genre to new heights while showing just how good these types of experiences can be. Great gameplay could have carried this game far enough, but Thunder Lotus once again went for hand drawn art and the result is truly remarkable.
The story is cliche, the gameplay is simplistic, and the entire package just doesn't come together in any significant way. Still, the game does look good and when the action is hitting it hits well. If you just want a new action shooter for PSVR this won't disappoint too much.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is a fantastic remake of some of the best platformers of all time. The new visual polish looks great on PS4. Though you might get frustrated by the dated gameplay at times, powering through will show why these games were so beloved 20 years ago.
ARMS is a great addition to the Switch's growing library of unique titles. Featuring a fresh new world full of color and character, the content might be light, but if you get hooked you'll find lots to enjoy here.
Delivering on the dream of a Star Trek VR experience, Star Trek: Bridge Crew is a fantastic new game for anyone with a VR setup. You might want more, but what is available will put a smile on your face and keep it there for hours.

Solid visuals and framerate. Some drawbacks hold it back overall, such as smaller worlds, but this is easily the best handheld version of Minecraft. Splitscreen on the go is really amazing, and a lot of fun.
Nintendo Switch's second best launch game, Snipperclips is the perfect game if you're wanting to push your new console's multiplayer features. Fun puzzles combine with a gleefully cute aesthetic to make for a worth addition to any new owner's Switch library.
For the price, Super Bomberman R is a tough sell. It does deliver on the promise of a return to the classic multiplayer that we all love. And the Switch is starving for content, as all newly launched systems do. If you really love Bomberman's signature multiplayer, or if you...
The simple fact is that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is one of the best games ever made. It marks a turning point for the medium that will be learned from for some time. It is a system seller in every sense of the word, and if...
Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin serves as a fun side adventure, utilizing PlayStation VR to put players right into the world of the series. It does this well, with the usual excellent writing expected of Double Fine. The point-and-click gameplay is fun, and works well in VR, but the...
