I just can’t help but shake the feeling that this game was a concession to the fans, rather than the pure artistic vision that Team Ninja had gone with. In fact, I would suggest that these two games deserve to be a case study in the “games as art” debate....

Being completely frank; I did not enjoy this game, but I’ll go easy on it because I can see its merits for the people that invariably will.

Tomb Raider is an amazing game. It is a perfect way for the series to be re-introduced to gamers, as it depicts a very likable heroine who truly struggles to survive, emotionally and physically. The overall experience wanted me to jump straight back into the campaign the moment it ended....
