Sonic Generations
The blue blur is back, and we’re not talking about the police lights in your rear view mirror as you try and escape with all those copies of MW3, you naughty scamp. No, we are of course referring to everyone’s favourite porcupine alternative, Sonic the Hedgehog. To say it has...
Disney Universe
Here at X360A it's no secret that we are all massive Disney fans, so much so that Webb can barely be parted for his massive plush toy collection for too long without suffering from the sniffles. Some or all of that may be fiction (albeit fiction with a heart warming...
X-Men: Destiny
Superhero games have had a rough history on pretty much every format, and none more so than the X-Men. Always one of the comic world's big hitters, they have never quite managed to translate their paper-based and silver screen success into the gaming medium. With titles like Arkham Asylum finally...
FIFA 16
Football, eh? It’s a funny old game, a game of two halves, eleven versus eleven, the beautiful game and all those other clichés that have probably formed some kind of TV pundit-style drinking game (or if not then we will be happy to claim ownership of such a plan). As...
NHL 12
Ice hockey is a pretty weird game when you think about it, with a myriad of rules and line changes that can seem baffling to the uninitiated. And it is one of the few sports that seems to celebrate the fact that players get into brawls on a regular basis....
Dead Island
Dead Island landed with a bang thanks to a lush CGI video that whipped up a hype-style frenzy and put the game firmly at the top of people's most wanted list. A whole island full of zombies to kill, with up to four player co-op? Seems to be a no-brainer...
Rambo: The Video Game
It isn’t very often that any criticism can be levelled at Pixar, as the hit-making animators seem to go from strength to strength. Yet this year they seemed to have a rare failure on their hands, as Cars 2 was hardly welcomed with open arms by most critics, though that...
It has been lean times recently at X360A towers (if only we did have a tower, that would be kick-ass) thanks to a steady stream of average and below par games. For some reason they all seem to find their way into my grubby mitts and it has to be...
It seems that the deluge of movie tie-in games will just never stop. I mean haven’t we suffered enough this year already? Next through the gate is Harry Potter and the Shameless Cash In: Part 2, which is basically an excuse to have an entire film devoted to a rather...
Captain America he’s a hero, going to take pollution down to zero. Oh wait, wrong captain. Though while we’re on the subject what was the deal with the kid that got the power of heart? Poor bugger. Anyway, instead of a gaudy superhero intent on ridding the world of evil...
For those of a certain age, like me, we all know how excited you were upon discovering that your parents had got you the toy of the year for Christmas. Forget My Little Pony. It was unwrapping Optimus Prime that will forever live on as one of the highlights of...
Alice: Madness Returns
The story behind Alice in Wonderland is quite widely known – or is it? This macabre twist on the classic tale sees an altogether more sinister version of events unfold. Anyone familiar with the original title will probably know what to expect, though this version actually pulls even fewer punches....
