If you miss the survival horror games of the late '90s and early 2000s, Tormented Souls 2 is the game you need to satisfy that nostalgia. It's an excellent exercise in atmosphere, level design, tension management, and puzzles that reminds us of everything that makes this genre great.

I love it when newer horror games really delve into the genre’s past, bringing modern improvements and taking the more hardcore design philosophy that really defined the genre. Tormented Souls 2 is an improvement to the original in so many ways. While its horror elements, visuals, and gameplay are exactly what you want from this experience, the game launched in an underwhelming state plagued by countless bugs and tech issues.
