Sid Meier's Civilization VI Reviews
Professional reviews from gaming critics
Civilization VI will go down in history as the most fully-featured launch version in the series. Many of those are smartly revamped versions of Civ classics, but it finds its own identity with great new ideas like spread-out cities, customizeable governments, research boosts, and leader agendas. And even though the AI has some improving to do, it can put up enough of a fight to make world domination a challenge.
Civilization remains the preeminent turn-based strategy game. This iteration has a lot of good ideas and a few flaws in execution. The flaws will be fixed, the good ideas will stay and deepen over time.
Sid Meier’s Civilization VI is the perfect balance of old school Civilization with some excellent new gameplay mechanics.
Civilization is finally back on consoles and boy is it still bloody fun to play. With plenty of new systems to get your head around, some fairly intuitive controls and the ability to wage war on your neighbours because they look at you funny, who can possibly say no to that?
Sid Meier’s Civilization VI is an innovative sequel that has flawlessly attracted its hardcore, veteran player base.

Every time my game end…
Sid Meier's Civilization VI is a turn-based strategy that offers players new ways to interact with their world, expand their empire across the map, advance their culture, and compete against history’s greatest leaders to build a civilization to stand the test of time.
It’s been 6 years since Civilization V appeared back in 2010. It brought us prettier graphics, a cleaner interface, a hexagonal map, and generally a more
The grand-daddy of grand strategy is back and he’s looking more grand then ever before. Yes, it’s the dawn of a new civilisation, Civilization VI to be exact. No longer in its infancy, Civilization as a franchise has evolved a lot throughout the ages (sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worse) but I have to say that this most recent iteration is seriously fantastic.
