For starters, it’s a remaster – and not just any old remaster, but a remaster of a 2002 original that was itself remastered once before as part of the PS3 Ratchet & Clank Collection. Come on, guys, how many times do you want us to play the same game?
Our two favourite galactic heroes return for one of the best Playstation exclusives in years.

Developing a reimagining of the original game instead of a sequel was a risky move, but it pays off handsomely with a robust weapon system and outstanding gameplay meshed perfectly together in the visually beautiful Ratchet & Clank.
A game based on a movie that's based on the game, and we're reliving the legacy 14 years later like it's the first time. Our Ratchet And Clank PS4 review.
Ratchet & Clank skillfully avoids most of the traps that hold back the majority of modern platform games and presents a fantastic, well-balanced, story-driven adventure.
Ratchet and his little robot buddy Clank are back from the Nexus to relive their origins. Now that they've finally arrived on PlayStation 4, it's time to unholster your Pyrocitor and light this baby up!
It was nearly fourteen years ago that I fell in love with a lovable little Lombax called Ratchet and his sentient robot friend, Clank. There was no doubt to me that the characters would gain their fans and live on for a decent amount of time, if taken care of and given the right games to push them forward. While not always successful, having a few mis-hits with games like Gladiator, Size Matters and All4One, this re-imagining offers you the game of the film that's based on the game and also reboots the whole franchise.
Developed alongside the major motion CG-animated picture, Ratchet & Clank marks the debut of intergalactic heroes on PS4, as they battle to save the Solana Galaxy from the evil Chairman Drek.
Initially, I wasn’t all that excited to hear about a Ratchet & Clank reboot, but having actually played it, I don’t mind seeing a resurgence at all. This feels like a last-ditch effort for Sony to bring this series into the spotlight again, and honestly, I hope it works out.
In an industry obsessed with endless sequels and "franchises", it makes a nice change to be greeted with some new chara…
The Ratchet & Clank reboot is one of the best exclusive games I’ve bought so far. It was worth it for only $39.99 (Php. 1,895.00), it’s pretty affordable for a remake on the PS4, unlike other exclusives which usually goes to a full price of $59.99 (Php. 2,595.00). It offers a better reintroduction to the series for all newcomers. Aside from being almost similar to the old version, the fantastic improvement on its aesthetics, decent level design, great voice actors behind the game, smoother controls, and the cinematic feel makes this game worth adding to your PlayStation 4 library without a doubt.
I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed a game as much as Ratchet & Clank. From shootouts and platfoming to the practically perfect script. Younger kids are going to love the bright visuals and characterisations, while us big kids will be chuckling at Qwark’s jokes and the sly grin Ratchet gives to the camera when he gets his paws on a new weapon. Welcome back to PlayStation, Insomniac. We’ve missed you.

The brand spanking new Ratchet & Clank game on PS4 is for you! Yes, Ratchet is back again with his trusty robot buddy Clank, ready to become galactic rangers and save the galaxy from all kinds of…. bad stuff!
