Although not very original, Beast of Reincarnation is a solid action RPG with a lot of heart that will stand as one of the best games of 2026.

Beast of Reincarnation is a bold new title from Game Freak that liberally takes inspiration from a handful of other games, including Pokémon, but manages to twist it all into something charmingly unique.

Beast of Reincarnation has some great ideas and does them justice enough to be included, but very few aspects feel as special.

Beast of Reincarnation's greatest strength is its sense of exploration, with excellent traversal and a beautifully atmospheric world. Although its story and technical issues prevent it from reaching greater heights, Game Freak delivers a solid action RPG with plenty of potential.

Review: It has numerous issues, but give Beast of Reincarnation some time and it's very likely to grow on you.
