Here we have a train simulator / zombie shooter, why not? The Final Station is certainly original: you play as a conductor in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies (which for some reason all look more like silhouettes than flesh-eaters).
140
First released on PC in 2013, rhythm-platformer 140 now bounces its way onto consoles. Does its minimalistic style hit all the right notes or fail to strike a chord?
Screen-wrapping is almost as old as gaming itself (think Asteroids, Pac-Man and even 1962's Spacewar!). Four Sided Fantasy builds its puzzles around this concept, allowing you to "lock" the screen at any moment and screen-wrap to another side of it.
Hue
Looking like a cross between Limbo and Apotheon, Hue is a charming puzzle-platformer that distinguishes itself by employing a unique colour-switching ability as its chief mechanic.
Valley
As the second console game from Slender: The Arrival developers Blue Isle Studios, Valley ditches jump scares for exploration. But can it do for adventure games what Slender did for horror?
Metrico+
After launching as a PS Vita exclusive as plain old Metrico in 2014, Metrico+ is now releasing for current gen consoles and PC with a reworked control system, new features and a fancy plus sign after its name.
Worms W.M.D
This latest entry in the long-running Worms series tries to inject some variation into the mix with the introduction of some high-powered vehicles and a crafting system. But, is that enough to differentiate it from previous games?
After debuting on 3DS in 2012, the latest edition of Mutant Mudds arrives for PS4 along with its trademark unforgiving level of difficulty.
Previously available on PC and Xbox One, Lifeless Planet now lands on PS4 with its Premier Edition re-issue. Time to suit up, blast off and go exploring...
Moon Hunters
Moon Hunters bills itself as a co-operative personality test RPG that encourages multiple playthroughs. But is this an adventure worth going on again and again (and again)?
Dungeon Punks
Dungeon Punks tries to be a throwback to classic arcade brawlers like Golden Axe and Dungeons & Dragons: Tower of Doom. However, its mind-numbingly repetitive combat means it falls well short of its ambitions.
Ninja Pizza Girl attempts to serve up a 2D speed-runner topped with an important social message but the end result feels rather half-baked.
