Ys X: Proud Nordics may not be the best the series has to offer, but the Switch 2 version is fantastic and the new content is great.
Resident Evil 7 Biohazard is still the high point of the series when it comes to horror, and it runs wonderfully on the Switch 2 for bedtime scares.
The Super Bomberman Collection is a wonderful bundle of games, whether you were a Bomberman kid or want to try something new.
Chromagun 2: Dye Hard is a clever puzzle game with a unique colour twist, but the difficulty never quite feels testing enough.
Romeo is a Dead Man is an absolutely wild ride, and although it has some duller moments I'm seriously glad I saw it through to the end.
The Prisoning: Fletcher’s Quest isn't going to light the world on fire, but if you're looking for a platformer without any frills you may enjoy it.
Mewgenics
Mewgenics is one of the densest and most entertaining tactics games ever made, and I'll be discovering new stuff in it for years to come.
My Hero Academia: All's Justice is the perfect way to say goodbye to an anime titan, with so much content and flashy as hell combat.
Dragon Quest VII Reimagined is a comfy blanket of JRPG nostalgia, and despite having some pacing issues I never wanted it to end.
Steel Century Groove is a wonderful blend of rhythm game and RPG, with all those wonderful hooks and a killer dance battle system.
The Switch 2 is now my console of choice for playing Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, and it's still one of the best RPGs of all time.
Escape from Ever After is the Paper Mario style game I've been waiting for since the GameCube, with a seriously charming fairytale setting.
