There are many worlds, but they share a common sky. One sky, one destiny. In Kingdom Hearts 3, these words finally become reality - after many years, the creators close threads scattered across too many games and waiting too long for an epilogue.
Legion didn't turn out to be as great a revolution as it was made out to be - and in my opinion, that's a very good thing. What we got was a product that was not without flaws, but was quite competent in its genre. Only and that's it.
Despite being fifteen years old, Stranger's Wrath is still holding up well, mainly thanks to its unique shooting mechanics and interestingly created world. But the Switch port could have been better.
The Surge 2
The second installment of The Surge improves all the most important mistakes of its predecessor and is simply a better game... but its reduced difficulty level will disappoint many fans of soulslike games.
I got what I wanted from Mortal Kombat 11 - a great selection of characters, an impressive story mode, a pleasant combat system and bloody visuals. Unfortunately, I was also given a free grind that promoted grinding and a sometimes frustrating progression system.
The new Hitman does not turn the proven formula upside down - but it doesn't have to, because it remains great from the last time, and just as it worked in the 2016 game, it also works in the new production.
SoulCalibur VI
The biggest opponent of the creators of Soulcalibur VI was the severely limited budget. However, it is clear that they did what they could to get the most out of it, creating the best installment of the series in years.
Shadow of the Colossus is an exemplary remake. It improves those elements that have become outdated in the original, such as controls and visuals, without touching what is timeless - i.e. the gameplay structure, plot and artistic style.
The fourth version of Okami is still the same original, beautiful and uniquely atmospheric production that will capture your hearts - but now available on almost all important hardware platforms.
The new game from the creators of Saints Row tries to combine the best features of the studio's previous works with solutions typical of MMORPG games. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a bad idea.
Serial Cleaner
Serial Cleaner won't take the world by storm, but it provides several hours of quite enjoyable fun without any major problems. The added value is the original theme and unique visual style.
The Surge is a solidly made and distinctive production in the Dark Souls style. Unfortunately, it is dragged down by individual unbalanced gameplay fragments.
