PC GamerLatest Reviews
This top-down metroidvania doesn't have any sweeping new ideas, but its good-natured charm and impeccable style make it a broomful of fun.
Animal Well
A sprawling puzzle metroidvania with a bottomless well of mystery.
Indika
This adventure-horror starring a Russian Orthodox nun takes a lot of risks, and mostly sticks the landing.
Seafaring misanthropy, with crafting: Skull and Bones is a fun game about boats hamstrung by today's live service conventions.
Gory and moody, The Callisto Protocol doesn't mess with the survival horror formula.
Spelunky 2
A brilliant action roguelike that's only as complex as you want it to be.
Dandara
A prickly 2D Metroidvania with a curious twist.
Celeste
An engaging, vibrant and challenging platformer that adds narrative to a genre often shy of it.
Flinthook
Attack pirates, steal their gold, demolish their bosses, rinse. Repeat.
Mr. Shifty
Bludgeon baddies to death from all directions.
Rain World
You'd be forgiven for giving up after an hour, but for those who persist, Rain World is a singular experience.
Owlboy
A beautiful adventure platformer with a 16-bit veneer, but with very modern themes.
