Never Grave: The Witch and The Curse is a new indie game that combines Metroidvania and roguelike elements into one superb formula.
Just like the theme of this game, the Pocketpair team is like a witch, trying out all the gameplay elements she likes in the alchemical cauldron, and finally brewing a bunch of magical products.
A roguelike Metroidvania about a witch and a magical hat, Never Grave is beautiful to look at and a joy to play thanks to silky-smooth combat and traversal. It's just a shame that making progress can feel too much like an uphill battle.
