Night Call is an intriguing ride through Paris full of intriguing tales and conversations. Too bad its detective elements aren't as compelling.

Seine meditation.

Night Call may draw you with its murder mysteries, but you’ll keep playing to learn about its numerous, interesting characters. It’s incredibly well written, if a bit pretentious in the best way. Unfortunately, it’s numerous glitches may frustrate players too much to keep playing.

Night call is thick with moody atmosphere and noir style; its writing is hit and miss, but it's tough not to be entranced by the central concept.

A stylishly presented, adult-themed adventure that explores the night life of Paris in thought-provoking but agreeably quirky detail.

All in all, Night Call sets itself up with an inspired idea and premise. The concept of a man living the simple life as a city taxi driver going through regular life while trying to catch a sinister serial killer is fascinating. When the different systems are firing on all cylinders and you can see the mystery unraveling, it’s a wonder to see. On the down side, the cabbie sim gameplay gets boring and the gameplay loop grows repetitive quickly.

Night Call is a fantastic noir-esque game where you take on the role of a Parisian taxi driver who is investigating a serial killer mystery on the side. With your friendly persona and a knack for getting your passengers to pour their hearts out, your goal is to drive them to their destinations, make good money to pay your daily bills, and hopefully land some helpful clues along the way.

An initially fascinating murder mystery that descends into repetition for its final two-thirds. A real shame.

Night Call ultimately feels like it’s missing something crucial to tie it all together. I think the game would’ve been better if it really was just about driving around Paris getting to know these people who are living out their everyday lives. The mystery-solving is half baked, and the fact that you can’t carry the stories of your passengers forward into future cases just makes me wish the mystery wasn’t there at all. I really did love the conversations I had with the game’s diverse cast, but in the end I was just left frustrated that I wouldn’t be able to see them through to thei…

There is a killer on the loose in Paris, and somehow you managed to get caught up in the middle of it. You, a simple taxi driver find yourself responsible for

Night Call is a new noir inspired narrative game. come see what we thought of it!

The investigation is almost secondary to the Cabbie Simulator 2019 thing, but you put together a conspiracy wall as you unlock clues. You make connections from what you see in the paper and what you overhear and what you scrounge up on your own. In classic noir sense, you really are on your own. The police detectives–save the one blackmailing you–are pretty useless and, hey, maybe the guy comes back to finish the job. It’s just you, the car, the road, and the passengers, debating if you can take one more fare to make it a worthwhile night or if you’re going to wind up in the hole because you j...
