Mix some over top combat, gratuitous deaths, sassy one liners and a sexy main character together and you get Bayonetta. Get ready to fight your way through all sorts of angelic creatures as you battle to regain Bayonetta's lost memories and fulfill her destiny.

The original Bayonetta remains the crazy, unique action title from a few years ago. There are newly added controls and some Nintendo related costumes, but the same content is still here in full force. That chaos will not serve all players well, but those who stick with it will have a brilliant time.

Abundant out-of-place caricatures fill the game with a sense of style and humour that act as a showpiece rather than a narrative, but only for patient players.

The fact that they pushed the boat ...
