Professional reviews from gaming critics
EA Sports UFC 6 | Review | Octagon brawling is back in top form, with great fight management and tons of content.
The title brings together legends and current stars of the sport in a game with great gameplay and excellent graphics, even including a historical tour.
EA Sports UFC 6 focuses on realism, accessibility, and content for newcomers and enthusiasts, with great technical attention to detail but also some limitations in grappling.
There's something about combat sports that lends itself exceptionally well to video games. There's tension, adrenaline, swift punishment for a stupid mistake, and that beautiful illusion that if you were to enter the Octagon yourself, you might, at least for a few seconds...
EA Sports UFC 6 offers plenty for both fans of the single-player experience and online lovers, honouring the legacy of the sport and offering great gameplay.
An impressive fighting game that strays further than ever from the sport’s reality.

Everything here from the new technological changes powered by Sapien Technology to the Hall of Legends will please every hardcore UFC fan.
Does EA Sports UFC 6 finally put this franchise in title contention? Or does the series still have some holes in its game?
EA Sports UFC 6 is the next installment of the MMA fighting franchise, and lets you step back into the Octagon as a variety of celebrities.
The improved graphics and fighter distinctions are welcome improvements, but when almost everything else feels so familiar or inessential, I can’t help but wonder if EA Sports’ UFC franchise has experienced too much time uncontested at the top.
