Bluey: The Videogame Reviews
Professional reviews from gaming critics
With the source material being so well known for its quality, it’s a shame Bluey: The Videogame is nowhere near as good in writing, gameplay, animation, or anything for that matter. Even with the target audience being young gamers or parents wanting their kids to try something they are familiar with, it’s hard to see many people finding joy here.
If your child is a Bluey fan, they are going to absolutely adore Bluey: The Videogame – it’s as simple as that. An art style that matches the cartoon and the use of original voice actors make this an authentic experience, with simple and well-considered gameplay that’s enjoyable for players of any age. Yes, this is an experience aimed at the youngest players – but even as adults, we’ve had some fun with this. It’s a game you’re going to be more than happy to play with your kids, let’s put it that way.
Bluey the Videogame’s worst aspect is how short it is. What’s there is enjoyable for its audience, even if it’s over so quickly. As cute and fun as this game may be, it should not be recommended to anyone above the age of 10 or more serious players who have a lot of gaming experience. The gameplay will be too easy and boring for older kids or adults to truly enjoy, or even appreciate. This is the kind of game that older players c...
“I love this game, I love how this did it, I love how it turned out, I loved the ‘ventures and my brother is really annoying, he was shouting at me but this was my first time and I never played a game on the big TV. I was really excited by this and it was really fun. I’d give it a 10 out of 10.”
It looks like Bluey and sounds like Bluey, but Bluey: The Videogame falls short in capturing the magic that makes the show so endearing.
Bluey the Videogame is not for older complaining gamers… it is for younger gamers who are fans of the global phenomena Bluey! Yes, it is for younger gamers
