Deliver Us the Moon is an excellent narrative adventure that comes to Switch mostly unscathed. The docked experience is pretty smooth, and all things considered, the concessions here are fairly light for a Switch port. The handheld experience is fine when navigating tight space station interiors, but gets extremely blurry anytime you enter a more complex environment or step out onto the surface of the moon. It isn’t unplayable in these moments, but the difference was enough to catch me off guard. Still if you’ve waited this long to play it on Switch, I don’t think you’ll be disappointe…

It's perhaps ironic that in a game where so much of the exploration and world building physically exists in a space without any atmosphere, that Deliver Us The Moon is absolutely overflowing with the stuff. From the claustrophobic sensation that almost every minute of its playtime exudes, through to the detailed modelling of its real-world adjacent world and the carefully constructed yet involving plot, Deliver Us The Moon is a slow-paced, if thoroughly captivating adventure thriller that is living its best life on PlayStation 5.

There’s no denying that Deliver Us The Moon is an excellent sci-fi adventure. It gets the balance of puzzles, exploration and storytelling just right, and the narrative running through it is one that will keep you invested until the credits roll. It’s a great-looking game, too, and on the latest hardware, it looks even better than ever. DualSense features would have been nice for the PS5 version, but it’s hardly a dealbreaker. Go on: go deliver the moon. You won’t regret it.

When we look to the moon, we see nothing but a glowing rock that lights up the night sky. But what if it were humanity’s last hope for survival? This is the basic premise in Deliver Us the Moon, a nicely penned story of isolation and loss that puts you in the role of an astronaut who travels to the moon to save the planet. While leaning heavily on walking simulator conventions like story progression coming from talking holograms and written documents, developer KeokeN Interactive doesn’t shy away putting you in exciting, do-or-die scenarios when things don’t go as planned.

Deliver Us the Moon is set in the very near future, and things are not looking particularly rosy for the Earth. Natural resources have been depleted and environmental damage is so severe that large land masses are slowly being turned into desert. Humanity is a pretty versatile species, and with a strong hunger to survive we can sometimes put aside our differences and work together -- which is how the World Space Agency was formed.

Deliver Us The Moon really surprised me. It's a bit rough around the edges, but it's a fantastic sci-fi thriller that kept me gripped throughout. Deliver Us The Moon is a stellar experience which will have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

A narrative journey through space so intriguing and full of compelling puzzles that it easily papers over some minor cracks in execution and major leaps it asks the player to make.

Overall Deliver Us The Moon is a solid walking sim puzzle game. With a fantastic atmosphere and a story that keeps you engaged during this 3 to 4 hour campaign. The variation in first and third person perspective is an interesting choice, which really works in the game. The production value of this ambitious title from an independent developer can only be applauded. With good voice acting, sound design and visuals and decent gameplay, this game rises above being ‘just a sci-fi game’ in a convincing way.

Deliver Us The Moon will keep players hooked with an interesting mystery and new mechanics at a regular pace but predictability and performance issues hinder journey into space.

Does it succeed? Well, I don’t know—I’m not an astronaut—but I can report that it has a pleasing gravity.

Deliver Us The Moon mirrors humanity's history of space travel: the successes are incredible, but it's failures can't be overlooked.

Deliver us the Moon, which is not to be confused with the Lovecraftian horror title, Moons of Madness, has recently seen a release on Xbox One via Game Pass. The title, which is a story-driven adventure game baked in the ingredients of a walking simulator, tells a story about the survival of mankind
