Everything Virtua Fighter gets right, it does so for the arcade crowd first - or, more specifically, loyal punters in Japan. With the home versions, SEGA proves time and again that it will not, perhaps cannot, entertain first-timers or reward its seasoned campaigners with thoughtful presentation.
