The creators of Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion have been frank and unapologetic about the game’s conception as a joke. This can be a risk when it comes to cre
As a game that doesn’t take itself too seriously and doesn’t take very long to finish, I consider Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion to be the perfect palate-cleansing game. Whether you’re in-between long games or are just looking for something that doesn’t require brainpower for payoff, Turnip Boy is the perfect game to put you in a good mood. Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion is ripe to be picked and placed in your library.
Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion takes a pretty bonkers premise, and turns it into a thorough action-adventure game. Not only are the design choices and character dialogue hilarious, but the gameplay hits on all of the beats that make a good Zelda clone. The full game is on the shorter side, but it left me hoping that we haven’t seen the last of Turnip Boy and this curious world.
Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion visually appears to be a cute children’s game, but one look at the title and you already know this game is serious business. Running around as a turnip on an epic quest to murder animals and commit more crimes is the only acceptable way to pay back your debt, in my opinion. Not only are you being a huge annoyance to everyone around you, but you are also uncovering dark government conspiracies while being an absolute menace. It is a short and sweet adventure containing internet references and interesting interactions, and includes lots of action, odd requests, and vegetarians. With relatively simple puzzles and a plethora of adorable vegetable characters placed in an absurd environment, the entire experience is worth having if internet humour and dialogue containing “uwu’s” are your thing.
It’s TAX SEASON! Okay, maybe it’s not, but it may as well be with the ever festive Q1 holiday of making sure your taxes are done. What better way to commemorate such an important time of year than with an adorable little video game all about tax evasion. Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion is a fun little tongue-in-cheek joke commenting on taxes, governments, and modern day work. Along your journey, you’ll meet other vegetables and fruit that work a variety of jobs, from hairdressers, sandwi...
Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion is the debut title from Snoozy Kazoo and focuses on an adorable yet mischievous little veggie who refuses to follow the rules. After avoiding his taxes, he must now work for Mayor Onion to pay off his debts but discovers something truly rotten along the way.
Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion is a cute little game that’s over way too quickly. While this means that a lot of its questions aren’t answered and its mechanics are underutilized, what’s here is still a very enjoyable ride with an adorable protagonist (that may need a calculator or two).
Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion is a fleeting but delicious Zelda-inspired romp.
Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion is a short action game that lacks replayability, but it provides an adorable experience in a unique package.
The premise of Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion is a solid one, and it should be quirky and unique enough to stand out, but it’s hard not to feel let down by what’s on offer. The lack of depth and content are noticeable, and any kind of post-game or replay value—especially without a map—don’t contribute enough to make this a clear recommendation. I want to like this game more than I did, and while I enjoyed Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion well enough, the experience is over far too soon. It would seem that Turnip Boy got off light this time. Must have been for time served or good behavi…
Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion is certainly not bad and has some genuine charm, but the incessant need to add jokes to everything leaves the experience feeling a little taxing.

This cute 2D action adventure is a comedic masterclass - but its combat holds it back from being truly brilliant.
