The Last Tinker: City of Colors
The Last Tinker is a joyous action adventure and definitely no platformer, as there is no jump button. Koru, a boy from the slums of Colortown, must rise and stand against the Bleakness, a dark force intent on wiping out joy. Koru must use color and emotion to restore life to Colortown!

The Last Tinker: City of Colors Reviews
Professional reviews from gaming critics
Platform adventure The Last Tinker: City of Colors has a story interesting to know and even more stimulating to witness. With a rich world so crisp in detail and with charming tunes, it’s an inviting universe that has variable gameplay elements to renew this sense of wonder at every turn. It’s a must for anyone who is tired of relying on ever-expanding scopes throwing out dozens of gimmicks in favor of padding. Live this; this is pure.
Set in a world where creativity has given way to conflict, The Last Tinker: City of Colors is a 3D action adventure where you play as a young street kid living in the slums of Colortown who seeks to restore the spark of imagination to his hometown.
The Last Tinker is an engaging and brilliant game. From a cheerful narrative with pleasant dialogue, to the amazing feats of dexterity and prowess of Koru, and even, eventually, in the combat, the game continues to impress from start to finish with consistent and clean quality making and production values.
The Last Tinker: City of Colors is a fun and insignificant way to spend seven to 10 hours with your PS4. The game will remain most memorable for me because of the way it never could decide who it was meant for—Kids? Adults? Teens? Super-coordinated babies?—rather than for graphical or gameplay reasons.

The Last Tinker creates a vibrant and colorful world, but does little else right causing the game to feel unfortunately cold and lifeless. Check it out if you want something bright and cheery, but avoid if you need anything more engaging.
Don’t let those minor complaints put you off as this is a gentle and entertaining romp through a fantastically realised world. The art-style and characters make it a special experience and even though the final few levels are a bit of a let-down with their formulaic design, The Last Tinker is worth picking up just to drink in its handcrafted visuals and feel-good vibe - when was the last time someone said that about a videogame?
I love this game’s approach to morals and ethics whilst being absolutely captivated by the outrageously authentic environment, in particular it’s loveable and charming inhabitants. There are a couple of hitches such as loading screens or an extremely rare instance of frame rate dropping when I moved the camera too fast but these small nuisances are nothing in comparison to the genuine, pure fun that this game has to offer.
