Stick It to the Stickman is brilliant, starting off as a wobbly brawler and branching into a bunch of other game styles in its anti-capitalist story.
Stick it to the Stickman is satisfying, violent and often hilarious, and the sheer amount of content across multiple modes make it hard to put down.
In addressing the capitalist labor system, the game manages to entertain with sarcasm and a simple combat and attack system.
I have to say, the latest batch of Devolver Digital titles, especially those released in 2026, hadn’t completely wowed me like they used to back in, say, 2018. They weren’t bad games, mind you, but they lacked that certain over the top charm and irreverence I used to associate with anything curated and published by the company, which made me fall in love with it in the first place.
