The game was made to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the series. The game features a character-switching feature, similar to the spin-off, Samurai Warriors: Chronicles, with which players can take two characters into battles simultaneously, and freely switch between the two. Two new moves, "Hyper Attacks" and "Rage Mode" are featured in this game: Hyper Attacks is a secondary moveset available to all characters that allows the player to sweep through and clear out crowd of enemies with a dashing animation, although it is useless against enemy officers, as they will either deflect it or are otherwise immune against it. Rage Mode renders the player invincible for a period of time, and also enhances the player's attacks as well as empowering their Musou attack by using the Spirit Gauge.","76639/Samurai Warriors 4_Cover.webp","76639/Samurai Warriors 4_Header.jpg","https://youtu.be/QDPoaDjT2DM","2014-03-20",82.57,7290,"samurai-warriors-4",null,[19,24
"Omega Force",true,false
"Koei Tecmo",[28],"Hack and slash/Beat 'em up",[30,31],"PlayStation 3","PlayStation 4",[33,49,65,80,94,106,121
37468
3558,"Daniel Kozlowski
7,"https://cdn.criticdb.com/storage/v1/object/public/avatars/Outlets/cog-connected-logo.png","COGConnected","https://cogconnected.com","100","Dynasty Warriors 3 was my first bout with the Warriors series. At the time I was quite young, probably close to 8 years old or so. I played the game for hours on end and loved every second of it. As I grew older, I found the games lack innovation and every new entry seemed to be more disappointing. Sure the basis of the game was fun, but it felt like Omega Force was basically copying and pasting content while adding in the occasional new map or character. However, it still doesn’t stop it from being extremely fun, even if only in small doses. With its Free Mode and Story Mode also playable in co-op, either locally on online, it’s even more fun when played with a like-minded friend. It’s just a shame co-op isn’t an option for the excellent Survival Mode. Where the latter is now up to its eighth main instalment, without counting any spin-offs, Samurai Warriors has only just reached its fourth incarnation. To the inexperienced, there isn't much to separate the two sets of games, and to an extent, there's an element of truth to this. They both largely follow the same structure of hacking and slashing your way through expansive historical battlefields, but proceedings have always felt a little more refined on the Japanese side of things. Whether this is because there's more development time between titles is up for debate, but there's no doubt that, more often than not, Samurai Warriors tends to be the more polished of Koei's creations.","https://www.pushsquare.com/reviews/ps4/samurai_warriors_4
134569
11088,"Dustin Spencer
143,"https://cdn.criticdb.com/storage/v1/object/public/avatars/Outlets/capsule-computers-logo.jpg","Capsule Computers","https://www.capsulecomputers.com.au/","","https://www.capsulecomputers.com.au/2014/10/samurai-warriors-4-review/","2014-10-31","8.5",85
79707
5929,"Cyril Lachel
59,"https://cdn.criticdb.com/storage/v1/object/public/avatars/Outlets/Gaming-Nexus-Logo.jpg","Gaming Nexus","https://gamingnexus.com/","Samurai Warrior 4 is yet another solid entry in the long-running beat-em-up franchise.
