If we did ratings it would be a 10, or a 100, or an A+, whatever ratings language you speak Halo Reach is at or near the top of that scale when you look at the game as a whole.

Halo: Reach is a fantastic package, with several core components that on their own can outclass many other games. The campaign is excellent, backed by solid storytelling and a powerful audio-visual experience. The competitive multiplayer is familiar, yet brand new with a lot more options and a faster pacing. And the cooperative Firefight arcade mode has finally met its potential. Whether you like playing with friends like me or you're more of a lone wolf, Halo: Reach has evolved to the point where it'll make everyone happy. It's a fitting end to Bungie's involvement with the franchise, one th...
As a Halo fanatic since the original Xbox's Australian launch in 2002, my hope has always been to see the full series move from its ageing console confines to
With Halo: Reach, Bungie has exited its most precious series with one almighty, planet-shattering bang.
“A fitting goodbye for Bungie, one of th emost important developers working today.”
It’s been a wild five years for Halo: The Master Chief Collection. I won’t dwell on the abysmal launch it faced in 2014, but it’s worth recognizing the heart and perseverance that paved the road to its success today. The revolution the collection has undergone on console and its debut on PC is a testament to 343’s passion for the franchise and care for the fans.
Step into the boots of a Spartan III, as Halo: Reach charts the story of Noble Team in their heroic stand to defend the planet Reach, its people and secrets against a ruthless assault by an alien collective known as the Covenant.
Whilst the game isn’t perfect, it is one of the better ones Bungie has put out on the market. The campaign is short lived and repetitive, yet it is still crazy fun and well thought out. The multiplayer is spectacular with endless unlocks, gametypes, and ways of play in general. With those in mind and the four player co-op as well as firefight, Halo: Reach is easily worth the price.
Chances are you’ve already made your mind up about whether or not you’re going to pick up Halo: Reach on launch, but if you’re one of the seven people who is still sat on the fence, then consider this a friendly little nudge in the right direction. Yes, this is Bungie’s last Halo game. Yes, this is the Seattle based developer going out on a high. Yes, this is the best Halo game they’ve ever created.
