Thanks to the Mimimi Games, the genre established by the unforgettable Commandos makes a big return. With their second stealth-RTS, the German studio not only solidified it's reputation as masters of the genre, but also brought Desperados back to life!

Desperados III is a real-time tactics game that lets players command a band of Desperados led by fan-favorite gunslinger John Cooper, who’s hunting down his nemesis.
At full price I would say make sure you know exactly what this game is before buying it. It’s excellent, but this genre isn’t going to be for everyone. On Game Pass though this one is a no-brainer to give a try. The install size isn’t huge, but the amount of high-quality content contained within is. Desperados III is out for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4/5 and PC. It is on Game Pass for Console, PC, and Android through xCloud.

The lawless Wild West is a gold mine for entertaining experiences yet very few games are set there so let's check out Desperados III.
Desperados III is a great stealth tactic game with great graphics, music, voice acting, characters and story but can feel like a rehash of previous games made by the same developers.
While it may not be for everyone, I encourage those who are frustrated to mess with things first before giving up on Desperados III entirely, as it's an excellent example of a game you should give time to gestate.
