The game is an evolution in every aspect from its predecessor, Phobia.
A.I.L.A | Review | A showdown with AI that loves to torment us and Brazilian indie horror, a pleasant but imperfect discovery.
I've been consuming horror content my whole life, especially the psychological horror genre. I've encountered incredible concepts and breathtaking stories,
Welcome to A.I.L.A, a new first-person horror game where you test a new piece of gaming hardware that creates personalised horror experiences. A.I.L.A has you explore numerous genres. However, the horrors don't end when you take the headset off and A.I.L.A seems to be hiding something. Will you be able to discover the truth before it's too late?

Yet the abrupt shift toward Resident Evil-copied survival horror derailed that momentum entirely for me. The unkillable super-alien and its broken pathing, the stressful puzzles, and/or the excessive backtracking can form a perfect storm of frustration for some. What remains is a game overflowing with genius ideas, bold ambitions, and striking visual design, but equally tangled in structural flaws that slightly drag the experience down. Still, it’s a fascinating near-future nightmare, and a gripping fusion of futurism and horror.
