Thanks to its new missions, Halo: Campaign Evolved gives longtime fans something fresh while expanding the wider Halo universe. Every element comes together to create a fitting anniversary celebration for one of gaming’s most influential franchises. Whether someone plays on Xbox or PlayStation, Halo: Campaign Evolved is a must-play.
While Avatar Legends will attract a smaller audience, they’ll be ecstatic about this incredible fighting game. It harnesses a key component from both shows that translates extraordinarily well into the fighting scene. The aspect of how these characters move, not just in their combos, but in the animation, shows the great respect these creators have.
The advertising for Legacy of the Dark Knight described it as the definitive Batman story. While the story might not be definitive, the game is definitely one of the best Batman experiences of all time. LEGO Batman is packed with so much love and care that any kind of Batman fan can appreciate it. Everything about the game carries an infectious joy that can make someone smile harder than the Joker.
I only played solo during the review period, but once this game is out for everyone, the amount of community content will be fantastic. Even with a busy month of game releases, players should make time for FH6. If you’re drifting away from Xbox, then Forza Horizon 6 is a great reason to jump back in.
The standouts are Lashana Lynch and Danny Sapani, who steal the scene anytime they’re onscreen. The only issue with the story is the length. Directive 8020 jumps straight into the action without letting the gamer get to know the cast. It would have been more effective if I understood the crew dynamics. Granted, they do have an explanation for why they’re not together at first, but having everyone together would have been more effective.
