Neverness to Everness is a gacha game that really has the potential to position itself amid the sea of currently available games. But there are a lot of small issues that keep it from unleashing its full potential, but the development team seems keen on fixing it up.

Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is a cute experience that I had a lot of fun playing. While some stages do have some rather obtuse solutions to their puzzles, it's still a cute and fun experience that I enjoyed from start to finish.

Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar really does set a new standard for when it comes to remaking these classic experiences from the DS era, and I hope we see many more of these titles in the future. But sadly, perhaps in due to my own experiences with the PS5 platform I can't help but feel just how much better it is to just play while resting on your bed, or maybe during those mundane moments where a game like this is just the ticket to unwind.

Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection is a lovingly crafted package that preserves the charm of the original games while adding meaningful quality-of-life improvements and long-lost content. While some design choices and minor presentation issues remain, the collection delivers a fun experience that is well worth it for longtime fans and newcomers alike.

Pokémon Pokopia has shattered pretty much all the expectations I had of this game, and it deserves every praise it can get. This is precisely the type of game that, even if you boot it up for just a few short minutes, I guarantee you there will always be something that can be done, and before you notice, it's been half an hour, and you're still engrossed in it. Whether that time be spent looking for artifacts, decorating your islands, or even meeting new Pokémon, there's something for every...

Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma is a fantastic addition to the series that, in many ways, finally delivers on what fans have been asking for. If you enjoy luxuriously colored landscapes in an open world, rich character interactions, tons and tons of ways to build your bonds while also having creative freedom over the growth of your villages, this is the game for you.

Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake masterfully modernizes two timeless RPGs with the gorgeous HD-2D art style. Significant story changes, wonderful quality-of-life improvements, and flawless performance on Nintendo Switch 2 make this a must-play game for any fan of the genre. Without a doubt, this is the definitive way to experience the Erdrick Trilogy for both newcomers and longtime fans alike.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star-Crossed World is some of the most fun you can have on Nintendo Switch 2, but even with the justification that you might want to return to the game or replay it on Nintendo Switch 2, the high price makes this a game you will probably spend more than you'd like on.

It’s been a while since I’ve installed a new gacha game on my phone. Back in high school, I used to have a lot of interest in the genre, but it has waned quite a bit over the last couple years. By the time I got into one, it would soon shut its doors, which is a sad reality that they all eventually have to face. Despite that, I try to tackle gacha games with a more positive outlook and don’t let fact that it’s a live service game cloud my enjoyment. As such, I waited for the global re...

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a graphically beautiful game, but despite its glowing reputation, it does little to innovate within the RPG genre. The lack of navigation tools makes exploring its world incredibly frustrating, and the story only starts to get interesting near the very end.
